I don't have a computer, so I've had to rely on Discord servers for a lot of things lately. So what are you going to do if you can't get a computer to run Discord? That's the question I was thinking about when I decided to start a new server called Discord.I had no idea what Discord was until I played around with it a few days ago.Discord was developed by the same people behind the popular chat app ...
AUSTRALIAN ISP is shutting down the world’s most popular email service over concerns about how it was set up.
Email service provider, Serversafe, said it was shutting down because of “a lack of funding” and was facing an “imminent” shutdown.
The company has been struggling with a massive loss in a year as it tries to expand its network, which it has dubbed the worlds largest, with more than 4.5 million email addresses.
Serversafe said it would “be unable to meet the obligations” of its customers to send email to the world, despite the fact that it had over 2.5 billion email addresses at the end of February.
It said the majority of email addresses had already been switched off and would be restored once it was fully funded.
It was one of the biggest internet companies to be taken over by a rival, as rival ISP, Megaupload, also struggled.
It also said it could be “several months” before the email service was back up and running.
“Serversafesafe has no plans to resume operation until the funding has been secured,” the company said.
“Serresafe is taking a tough and realistic approach to its financial future, and is evaluating the options for its operations.”
We will be working with its stakeholders to ensure that the services are provided to our customers in a sustainable and appropriate manner.
“”We believe that a full-blown shutdown will not be necessary, given the scale of the funding shortfall that Serresafe faces.
“Serresafesafesafer said it had “no intention of suspending operations”, but was “actively assessing all options”.
Serresafer has been in operation since 2013, but it was taken over in a takeover bid by the internet service provider Megauge.
In its latest financial statements, Serresafersafe said the company had a “significant debt of more than $8 million” and it was struggling to make money.”
The company is in a precarious financial position due to a lack of funds and an uncertain future for the company,” it said.”
It is facing a large and rapidly growing debt load.
“In addition to the significant debt, the company has a significant backlog of transactions with its existing customers and is actively assessing the option of shutting down its services.”
“The current financial situation is unsustainable and Serresafer is currently in discussions with its investors and other interested parties regarding its options and future direction.”
